Aracataca Macondo

Departure from your hotel or place of accommodation in Santa Marta A 2-hour car transfer to Aracataca.
We begin the tour of Macondo by visiting the “I Love Aracataca” mosaic. We continue to the Macondo Linear Park.
You will also visit the train station and the Remedios la Bella monument, where you will have 10 minutes to take photos and learn about the history.
Next, we will visit the July 20th Boardwalk, where information about its significance will be provided.
You will also visit the Maria Montessori School, where Gabo learned to read.
Afterward, we will visit the grandparents’ house of Gabriel García Márquez, called ‘the house museum’.
Lunch
Tour of the Telegraphist’s House, a museum with important literary pieces.
Visit to the San José Church and the Bolívar Park.
Return to Santa Marta.
