Immerse yourself in the local culture as you explore home gardens, listen to legends around the campfire, and venture on horseback rides through picturesque trails. Day

Pick-up at 5:00 a.m. from your hotel or accommodation.
At dawn, the fresh mountain air and the singing of birds will welcome you as you prepare to explore the stunning surroundings of Campano.
Then, around 8:30 a.m., you will venture through dense forests and winding trails where you can discover endemic bird species of the region and also enjoy a spectacular waterfall, where you can refresh yourself and connect with the wild beauty of nature.
Continuing towards the imposing Cerro Kennedy, you will be greeted by breathtaking panoramic views as you learn about the fascinating history and biodiversity of the region from our expert local guides.
Arrival at around 12:40 p.m. at hostel Altos de la Sierra, there you will immerse yourself in the local culture while enjoying delicious traditional dishes and exploring a home garden full of authentic flavors.
In the afternoon, you will relax by a campfire under the starry sky, listening to local myths and legends while sharing laughs and experiences with other travelers and hostel hosts.
Night at the hostel.

Day

You will wake up early, around 4:30 a.m., to be ready for sunrise.
The journey will continue with a descent to La María farm, where the aroma of coffee will welcome you to a homemade breakfast full of flavor and tradition.
Then, you will embark on an exciting horseback ride through the picturesque landscapes of Los Moros, enjoying the serenity of nature while immersing yourself in the local culture and refreshing yourself in the crystal-clear Córdoba River.
At the end of the day, you will return to Minca and then to your accommodation in Santa Marta.

Recommendations for the tour Macondo in the Clouds.

We have some small recommendations that you should keep in mind before and during the tour Macondo in the Clouds:

You are responsible for your personal belongings. Take care of them.
It is prohibited: drugs, excessive alcohol, prostitution, and misbehavior that harms others.
Before the tour: Have good physical condition. If you have any medical prescription, consult with your primary care physician if it is possible to participate in the experience. Not suitable for people with reduced mobility. Not suitable for pregnant individuals.
During the tour: Stay hydrated. Follow the guide’s recommendations. Do not separate from the group.
What to bring? Comfortable trekking clothes, waterproof clothing, hydration, insect repellent, change of clothes, trekking shoes.
