Day

Our adventure begins with a journey of approximately 1.5 hours from Montería to Tierralta. Once there, we will prepare for a trek of about 1 hour towards the impressive El Saltillo de Tuis Tuis Waterfall. During the hike, we will not only enjoy the surrounding natural beauty but also learn about the medicinal plants traditionally used by the indigenous community.

Upon reaching the waterfall, we’ll have the opportunity to enjoy a refreshing swim and recharge with a snack. Afterward, we’ll begin our return to the starting point and head to the Emberá Katío indigenous reserve.

At the reserve, we will be welcomed with a delicious lunch, followed by artisan workshops: one for beadwork and another for basket weaving, where we’ll learn ancestral techniques. The best part is that you’ll be able to take home the pieces you create as a keepsake.
