Day

  • We begin by picking up participants at their place of accommodation and heading toward the village of Perico Aguao, where a deep connection with the ancestral culture of the Sierra Nevada awaits us.
  • Upon arrival, we’ll be welcomed by an indigenous guide who will accompany us throughout the tour. Their perspective, words, and ancestral knowledge will guide us through cacao plantations—crops that not only nourish but also symbolize the sacred bond between the community and the land.
  • We will continue on foot to Kutunsama, an Arhuaco indigenous community, where we will share with its inhabitants, learn about their customs, take part in a small traditional weaving workshop, and walk along the beach while we gain insight into how the environment shapes daily life in this sacred territory.
  • To close this meaningful experience, we will plant a tree. A simple yet profound act—a gift to Mother Earth and a commitment to the future.
  • At the end of the day, we return to Santa Marta with fuller hearts and open minds, inspired by a living culture that reminds us that traveling is also about caring.
