Tayrona Park closed during January – February 2018

tayrona tour

Tayrona Park will be closed for few days, for all our travelers who have planned to visit this attractive place be aware of the following information.

As you recalled a few months ago like this one, the tour to see the amazing Lost City was also closed for a while.

These temporary closures are due to the important care that our mother nature must receive, therefore, it is very important that to heal and breathe, the respective cleanings are made, in this way we avoid that our natural parks suffer long-term damage.

Those who are responsible for healing and cleaning these lands are our elder brothers who live in the Sierra Nevada, they choose the ideal date to make the sacred payments and thus take care of Mother Earth.

If you have planned to visit this place, do not worry it will only be closed from January 28 to February 28, you can enjoy other beaches like Taganga, Playa Grande, Rodadero, Playa Blanca or spend a few days in Minca or Palomino.
