Santa Marta reactivates all economic activities as of today, June 1, 2021. According to the last decree announced by the District Mayor’s Office. The ‘phase of Selective Isolation with Responsible Individual Distancing and Safe Economic Reactivation’ begins. Therefore, the curfew, dry law and “pico y cédula” measures are suspended.
With this new measure, establishments can start opening. Always following the biosecurity protocols to contain the virus. Likewise, decree 105 of 2021 states that ‘the instructions to prevent the spread of the virus adopted or issued by the National Government, or national and departmental agencies and the District Administration must be followed’.
The closing of the beaches for cleaning and oxygenation will be on the second Wednesday of each month, except for the Tayrona National Natural Park.
The above measures are a step forward for the reactivation of the city of Santa Marta, maintaining the necessary biosecurity measures.
