The foothills of the Sierra Nevada of Santa Marta, the highest coastal mountain in the world, sink into the sea forming bays and coves of an exceptional beauty: Chengue, Gayraca, Cinto, Neguanje, Concha, and Guachaquita. The coastline is marked by white sandy beaches fringed by rocky atolls, mangroves, and forests, all bathed in the clear waters of the Caribbean Sea. These are part of many attractions offered by the National Natural Park Tayrona.
